// Putting an Aspirin between my legs?//

It occurred to me this morning that I have been having internal upsets at the Foster Friess comment:

Oh just for those of you who had not heard, here is a little background stolen from TPM:

,“This whole contraception debate is just so new-fangled, says billionaire investor and mega-funder to the super PAC supporting former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) for President, Foster Friess.

In a simpler time, there were other ways to deal with female sexual desire. “Back in my day, they used Bayer Aspirin for contraceptives. The gals put it between their knees and it wasn’t that costly,” he said Thursday on MSNBC’s”

When I read the insert, I had not totally grasped what Friess was referring to, I will be the first to admit that I thought he was speaking of women in the past putting aspirin in their vaginas as a form of contraceptive. No!  He is doing what many Americans do intentionally or even subconsciously: Blaming women for having a libido, hormones, desires, fantasies, brain, breast, clitoris, (I can go on forever).

While serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia educating about HIV to high school students many of my students would give me a whole host of myths as to why HIV was prevalent in their country. One myth that stood out the most was this idea that women are “overly sexualized”. Having never heard such a myth, I was perplexed and began to ask questions as to where that concept would originate in a male dominated society.

I quickly understood that when men are the rulers of a country women will get any reputation that is applied by men. If men are in “control” they are not going to “put themselves on the line” they are going to expose women or the minority.

When I first heard the comment about women being overly sexualized, my initial reaction was glee! Women being respected as sexual beings! Then as it was associated with higher rates of HIV, as if women climb on top of themselves and infect themselves.

And now in one of the wealthiest (whatever that means) countries in the world, we have a man referring to contraceptive as women not being able to keep their legs closed! I am outraged!

I am shocked that this was even taken as a joke.

My blog today is dedicated to men and women- human beings who have desires, fantasies, wants, needs, etc. Having sex is not bad or wrong (even if you have had 1,500 partners or 1 partner) sex is sex is sex is sex. And if you have a problem with aspects that involve sex than DON’T DO IT! My request is to not shame people who use anything under the sex umbrella as you stop the conversation about sex that is so needed in this country!

I, end this blog with a reason to take that aspirin from between your legs, and spread to insert Smart Balls from Eden’s Fantasy!

You can insert these smart balls to tone the pelvic floor of the vagina for stronger orgasms. Its basically like doing kegel exercises for 30-45 minutes and that will instantly cause arousal!
